The president of the Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region, José Ignacio Pastor, accompanied by the Councillor for Tourism and Hospitality, Rosario Martinez, presented today the 3rd Edition of PASTEL AND COFFEE.
From 12 to 18 February the 3rd edition of PASTEL Y CAFÉ will be held, where once again customers will be able to taste delicious homemade cakes and pastries accompanied by coffee, tea or infusion with prices ranging from 3,50 to 6,00 €.
Pastel y Café is an activity for all audiences where you can taste cakes and pastries during the usual opening hours of each participating establishment.
On this occasion there are 10 associated establishments that will offer from famous cakes such as Red Velvet, San Marcos, death by chocolate, more traditional recipes such as cheesecake, apple pie, tiramisu to others with more innovative flavours such as Paris-Brest cake, vanilla cream millefeuille, etc...

On the other hand, the president of the Association, José Ignacio Pastor, has taken the opportunity to launch one of the new features included in the Calendar of activities 2024.
The Hotel and Catering Associationin its desire to encourage the participation of its associates, has created for the CROQUETTES TO TASTEO to be held on Thursday 4 April in the CdT of Torreviejaprior to the activity of CROQUETING IN TORREVIEJA which will take place from 13 to 19 MayThe prize money and product prizes, which will be provided by the sponsoring companya Comercial Roldán.
The prizes will consist of:
- A FIRST PRIZE OF 1.000,00 EUROS CASH PLUS A LOT OF COMMERCIAL ROLDÁN PRODUCTS
- A SECOND PRIZE OF 500.00 EUROS CASH PLUS A LOT OF COMMERCIAL ROLDÁN PRODUCTS
- Y, UN THIRD PRIZE OF A BATCH OF PRODUCTS FROM COMERCIAL ROLDÁN
The prizes will be awarded by a professional jury that will evaluate them.
In order to be able to participate in this event, it will be necessary to meet certain minimum requirements:
- Belonging to the Association of Hotel and Catering Businesses of Torrevieja and the surrounding area
- Be up to date with payments of the membership fee.
- Strictly comply with the bases established in the activity to be carried out on the occasion of the competitions.
- For the CROQUETAS AL GUSTO competition, the following will be required have participated in an activity of the above-mentioned activities in the past to the competition (CAKE AND COFFEE, TORREVIEJA RICE, LENT MENUS, A TODO TREN)
The registration period will open later this week.
With this initiative they hope to increasing participation of the partners in the activities organised by the association throughout the year.
Finally, the Councillor for hotels and tourism, Rosario Martínez, has expressed the support that the City Council offers to the Association in all the actions that it carries out for the benefit of the hospitality sector and the commitment of the local administration to continue supporting and promoting initiatives that contribute to the development and strengthening of the hospitality sector.
