This morning, at 10:00 a.m., in the Tourism Centre (CdT) of Torrevieja, the winners of the Second "Nos vamos de tapas" Competitionorganised by the Association of Hotel and Catering Businesses of Torrevieja and the surrounding area.
The reading of the winners was carried out by Alicia Arenas MercaderThe winners of the competition were announced after the opening of the envelope with the official results. The winners of the following categories were announced at the event Best Traditional Tapa y Best Innovative Tapa.
In the category Traditional Tapathe prize went to the Restaurant La Mar de Bienthanks to its exquisite proposal Stuffed squid with seafood, American sauce and crispy leekThe jury was won over by its flavour and presentation.
The winner of the Innovative Cover was disqualified for not being present at the time of the announcement, as established in the competition rules. In view of this circumstance, the prize in this category has been cancelled and will be reserved for future activities or editions of the competition.
During the event, a raffle was also held among the participating establishments, with the winner being the trip valued at 1,000 euros the premises La Cantina Food & Drinks.
The official prize-giving ceremony will be held next Thursday at Bodegas VegaThe winners will be publicly recognised and a toast will be made to the success of this second edition of "Nos vamos de tapas".
The Association of Hotel and Catering Businesses of Torrevieja and the surrounding area thanks all the participants for their involvement and encourages them to continue to support and enjoy the creativity and flavour of local gastronomy in future editions.
