Torrevieja is getting ready to celebrate from 17 to 19 October 2025 the new edition of the DESAL Gastronomic FestivalThe event will fill the city with culinary experiences, prestigious chefs, workshops for the whole family and activities that highlight the richness and creativity of local and Mediterranean cuisine.
A festival for all audiences
DESAL 2025 will offer a full programme of activities over three days, aimed at both gastronomy professionals and the general public and families. The event, promoted by the Torrevieja City Council, the Generalitat Valenciana and the main gastronomic entities of the Valencian Community, will include the presence of chefs awarded with Michelin stars and Repsol suns, live culinary demonstrations, round tables on health and food, tastings and creative workshops for children.

Friday 17 October

Activities for families and children
The programme includes original daily children's workshops focused on healthy cooking, creativity and fun, from decorating biscuits and cupcakes, to salads, canapés and fruit animals, so that the little ones can also live the gastronomic experience as a family.
Social commitment and solidarity gastronomy
The festival collaborates with the Asociación de Alimentos Solidarios and other local entities, reinforcing the inclusive and supportive nature of this culinary event, and aims to promote healthy habits, traditional cuisine and the promotion of local producers and restaurants.
Live music
DJ Deuve will entertain on Friday and Saturday nights between 7pm and 10pm, and on Sunday between 4pm and 7pm, adding atmosphere and entertainment to the festival offer.
