This Friday was the closing ceremony of the Gastronomic Days "Torrevieja and the Sea" 2025, a special edition that has opted for a new, more concentrated and experiential format, with a participating restaurant every Friday.
The closing ceremony took place at Las Columnas Restaurant, host of this last day, where representatives of the hospitality sector, participants, guests and local authorities, including the Councillor for Urban Management, Sandra Sánchez, and the Councillor for Sports, Diana Box, gathered.
During the event, diplomas of recognition were presented to the three participating establishments, as a token of gratitude for their involvement and professionalism:
- Luz de Mar Restaurant (20 June)
- Restaurant Club Náutico Torrevieja (27 June)
- Las Columnas Restaurant (4 July)
The president of the Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region, José Ignacio Pastor, publicly thanked the commitment of the establishments, the quality of the gastronomic proposals and the support of the local administration. He also stressed that this new model, smaller and more personalised, has been well received by the public, which opens the door to continue developing it in future editions.
"With this formula we wanted to offer the customer a more complete experience, in a more caring and friendly environment. And the feedback has been very positive," Pastor said.
The Association is already working on the next edition with the aim of continuing to promote local gastronomy as a first class tourist and cultural attraction.
