Today have been announced the winners of the XLIX Brotherhood Dinner "Golden Forks" at the Centre for Tourism Development (CdT) of Torrevieja. The event was attended by members of the Board of Directors of the Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region (AEHTC), the mayor of Torrevieja, D. Eduardo Dolon the councilman of Hospitality and Tourism, Rosario Martinez and the director of the CdT, Alicia Arenas, as well as the winners.
The awards recognise excellence in the hospitality and tourism sector in the region, rewarding the career, innovation and contribution to the development of hospitality and tourism. The award winners in this edition are the following:
- PLAQUE IN RECOGNITION OF COMPANY 2025 - AGAMED
o Awarded to a company that has direct links with the hotel and catering industry, with our members and that collaborates with the AEHTC in its various activities.
- - HONORARY MEMBER 2025 - JOAQUÍN GUILLAMÓ ALARCÓN
- o Distinction created to publicly recognise associates and persons who, due to their prestige and for having contributed in a relevant way to the development of the association, are deserving of such a distinction.
- - CHEF OF THE YEAR 2025 (2024 period) - JUAN ANTONIO CASES GABIN
- o Distinction that recognises the chef who has stood out the most for his or her talent, creativity and innovation in cuisine. It is awarded to the person who has had a significant impact on gastronomy, either through their work, their influence or their contribution to the sector.
- - SILVER PLATTER 2025 - TASCA NUEVA BAHÍA
- o Distinction awarded by the Association to associated catering establishments that have stood out for their track record and good work.
- - HOSPITALITY 2025 - HOTEL MADRID
- o Recognition and distinction awarded for contributing to the development of tourism in the Vega Baja region.
- - GOLD FORK 2025 - SUNSET BEACH RESTAURANT
- o The highest award that the Association grants to an owner of a member establishment in public recognition of his or her work in the hospitality sector.
With these awards, the AEHTC reaffirms its commitment to the hospitality and tourism of the region, valuing the effort and dedication of professionals in the sector. The XLIX Brotherhood Dinner "Golden Forks" will be held on Monday 7th April at the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja, in an event that will bring together businessmen, professionals and local authorities in an evening of tribute and celebration.
