Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has extended until 15 May 2026 the deadline for tourism companies to apply for energy efficiency and circular economy grants. In addition, the list of beneficiaries has been extended to bars and cafésThe European Commission has also made these subsidies available to them.
Main new features of the aid:
- New deadline: applications open until 15 May 2026.
- More beneficiaries: food and beverage service businesses (bars and cafés) are included.
- Facilities for those affected by the DANA: 100% advance of aid and fewer administrative requirements.
- Total budget: more than 21 million financed by the European funds Next Generation EU.
Who can apply for these grants?
Eligibility tourism companies in the Valencian Regionincluding hotels, tourist accommodation, restaurants, cafés and other tourism-related activities. It is necessary to be registered in the Census of Employers and in the Comunitat Valenciana Tourism Register.
Which projects are eligible for funding?
Funding will be provided for actions that improve energy efficiency and promote the circular economy, such as:
- Photovoltaic installations for self-consumption.
- Replacement of efficient household appliances and refrigeration equipment.
- Improving the efficiency of refrigeration installations.
- Automation and energy control systems.
- Optimisation of equipment and installations to reduce consumption.
- Initiatives to improve resource efficiency and support the transition to a circular economy.
How and when to apply?
The application process is open from 28 October 2024 to 15 May 2026or until the budget is exhausted. They will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and can be applied for via the website of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana.
