The Luz de Mar Restaurant inaugurates the cycle with creativity, Mediterranean flavour and a great reception from the public.
The Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region (AEHTC) celebrates with great satisfaction the success of the first day of the new edition of the Gastronomic Days "Torrevieja and the Sea" 2025, held last Friday 20th June in the Restaurant Luz de Mar.
The opening event brought together institutional representatives, business people from the sector, regular customers and the media, who were able to enjoy a gastronomic experience carefully designed to highlight the products of local cuisine, with an innovative and contemporary approach.
Chef @xezjuan was in charge of signing a surprising menu that combined tradition and avant-garde, highlighting dishes such as:
- Homemade bread with mullet roe mousse and crème fraîche.
- Smoked aubergine, peppers, Idiazábal cheese and fried almonds.
- Wagyu beef gunkan, egg yolk, Joselito bacon and truffle.
- Grandma's tart ice cream sandwich, Luz de Mar style.
The AEHTC is deeply grateful for the collaboration of the team of the Luz de Mar Restaurant, as well as for the assistance of all the diners who joined us for this first event.
The next event will take place next Friday 27th June at the Restaurant of the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja (RCNT), where we will continue celebrating the talent of our chefs and the value of Torrevieja's gastronomy.
