Torrevieja presents the Gastronomic Days "Torrevieja and the Sea 2026".
The Association of Hotel and Catering Businesses of Torrevieja and Region (AEHTC) has officially presented a new edition of the Gastronomic Days "Torrevieja and the Sea 2026", an initiative that once again unites Mediterranean gastronomy, seafaring tradition and tourism promotion of the city.
The official presentation took place at the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja and was attended by the Councillor for Hospitality and Tourism, Rosario Martínez, institutional representatives, media, participating restaurants and collaborating companies.
Gastronomy as a driving force for tourism in Torrevieja
During the event, the president of the AEHTC, José Ignacio Pastor Pérez, stressed the importance of continuing to promote gastronomic actions that consolidate Torrevieja as one of the culinary destinations of reference in the Mediterranean.
He also highlighted the talent of local chefs and the quality of local produce linked to the sea and Mediterranean cuisine.
For her part, the councillor for Catering and Tourism, Rosario Martínez, thanked all the participating establishments for their involvement and highlighted the high standard of the menus prepared for this edition.
According to him, these days will once again become an important gastronomic and tourist attraction for residents and visitors.
Dates and participating restaurants in "Torrevieja and the Sea 2026".
Following the success of last year's edition, the conference will be held again on Fridays in June 2026 with the participation of four partner restaurants:
- 5 June - Las Villas Restaurant
- 12 June - Luna Creciente Gastrobar
- 19 June - Luz de Mar Restaurant
- 26 June - La Mar de Bien
The incorporation this year of Luna Creciente Gastrobar reinforces the association's commitment to continue expanding and dynamising this gastronomic proposal.
Institutional support and partners
The AEHTC is especially grateful for the support of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism, the CDT of Torrevieja, the media and all the collaborating entities involved in the development of the conference.
The collaboration of Makro as the official supplier of the event was also highlighted, as well as the support of Agamed, represented during the event by its deputy director, Gemma Cruz, for its constant involvement in tourist, social and gastronomic initiatives in the city.
