Winners of the "Croquetas al Gusto" competition at the VI edition of Croqueteando por Torrevieja
The Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region (AEHTC) has announced the winners of the "Croquetas al Gusto" contest, held within the programme of the VI edition of "Croqueteando por Torrevieja", one of the most outstanding and participative gastronomic events of the local hospitality calendar.
The awards ceremony took place this morning at the CdT Torrevieja and was attended by the councillor for Hospitality and Tourism and president of the jury, Rosario Martínez; the director of the CdT Torrevieja, Alicia Arenas; the president of the AEHTC, José Ignacio Pastor Pérez; César Amorós, representative of the sponsoring company Roldán Netya, as well as participants and professionals from the hospitality sector.
José Ignacio Pastor Pérez was in charge of opening the official minutes and announcing the jury's decision, highlighting the high culinary level, creativity and originality of the proposals presented in this edition.
Both Rosario Martínez and Alicia Arenas agreed in underlining the difficulty of the deliberation due to the excellent quality of all the participating croquettes. They both publicly congratulated the establishments for their involvement, professionalism and effort in this gastronomic initiative.
For his part, José Ignacio Pastor thanked all the associates for their participation and highlighted the great reception that "Croqueteando por Torrevieja" has had among customers and visitors. He also encouraged the establishments to continue participating in future editions "with the same enthusiasm and desire to continue positioning local gastronomy as a reference".

3rd Prize - Best Croquette
Mellow croquette of cheeks
Chiringuito La Mar de Bien
Prize:
- Lot of Roldán Netya products valued at 300 euros.
