The Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region is proud to announce that HB Torrevieja Restaurant has been selected to participate in the second edition of "La Millor Tapeta del Mon".
This prestigious gastronomic event will take place on the 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd and 24th of September at CERCA, in the Central Market of Alicante.
HB Torrevieja Restaurant will represent the city of Torrevieja with its famous "Gamba al ajillo" croquette, which was awarded as the winner in the IV Croqueteando en Torrevieja Contest, organised by the Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region. The restaurant's participation is scheduled for Tuesday 17th September at 11:00 h.
We are pleased to recall that last year the Restaurant Las Columnas took part in the event, which prepared a magnificent tapa called "Mar y Tierra", highlighting the rich combination of local ingredients from the region.
"La Millor Tapeta del Mon" is an initiative that seeks to highlight the tradition and creativity of local gastronomy through the tapa, an icon of Spanish culinary culture. This event brings together the best chefs of the Valencian Community, who will prepare traditional and innovative tapas with products from our land and sea.
The creations will be paired with Alicante DOP wines and will be offered for free tasting during some magnificent showcooking.
