Today Friday at 10 am the VIII Edition of the Gastrocultural Festival of the Vega Baja, Gastrovegabaja, starts in the Antonio Soria Park in Torrevieja.
We have three days ahead of us full of activities for the whole family, with the gastronomy of the Vega Baja at the heart of all the activities.
In this eighth edition of the Festival we seek to reinforce the role of gastronomy as the backbone of the culture of Torrevieja and the Vega Baja region. Mediterranean gastronomy has a very defined personality, marked by the importance that the Mediterranean Sea has and has had in the past.
Our Mediterranean gastronomy, as heir to a millenary culture, represents a very characteristic mixture of tradition and modernity, where the product and the environment exert a great influence on the work of the professionals in the sector.
