{"id":8305,"date":"2026-09-09T18:15:48","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T16:15:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.torreviejagastronomica.com\/?p=8305"},"modified":"2026-09-09T18:27:47","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T16:27:47","slug":"ruta-del-arroz-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.torreviejagastronomica.com\/en\/ruta-del-arroz-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The Rice Route 2026: 13\u201318 October"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association is launching the&nbsp;<strong>1st Edition of \u201cLa Ruta del Arroz \u2013 The Rice Route\u201d<\/strong>, a new gastronomic initiative aimed at promoting local cuisine, boosting business at participating establishments and offering the public a new experience centred on rice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first edition of&nbsp;<strong>The Rice Route 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;will take place on&nbsp;<strong>Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the Rice Trail?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each participating establishment will offer&nbsp;<strong>a single plate of rice<\/strong>, which must be a complete and substantial meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price will be the same at all participating outlets:&nbsp;<strong>\u20ac6.00 per dish, including a drink<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal is open to the creativity of each establishment. Different types of dishes may be submitted, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chicken and rice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rice with fish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seafood rice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rice with vegetables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creamy rice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crusted rice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rice and rabbit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or any other rice dish offered by the restaurant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim is to offer a varied itinerary that allows the public to discover different ways of enjoying one of the most iconic products of our cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration for establishments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following may take part:&nbsp;<strong>bars and restaurants that are members of the Association and are up to date with their membership fees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the walk to go ahead, we will need to reach a&nbsp;<strong>at least 10 registered establishments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>The registration deadline is Friday 18 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To complete the registration process, each establishment must submit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed registration form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The establishment\u2019s logo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Photograph of the plate of rice<\/strong>\u00a0which will be presented during the tour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Times for participation:\u00a0<strong>midday, evening or a full day<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The documentation must be sent within the specified deadline to&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"mailto:correo@aehtc.net\">correo@aehtc.net<\/a><\/strong>. Late entries will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important: conditions for the participating dish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>The dish submitted at the time of registration must be exactly the same as the one served during La Ruta del Arroz<\/strong>&nbsp;and must maintain appropriate quality standards throughout the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, participating establishments must&nbsp;<strong>display the promotional material in a prominent place<\/strong>&nbsp;which will be provided by the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public participation and prize draw<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers who take part in&nbsp;<strong>The Rice Route 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;They will be eligible for various prizes via the entry forms provided by the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To take part in the prize draw, you will need to obtain&nbsp;<strong>at least 5 stamps from 5 different participating outlets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the ballot paper has been completed, it must be placed in any of the designated ballot boxes.&nbsp;<strong>The ballot box and the stamp will be provided by the Association.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>The prize draw will take place on 24 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating establishments must&nbsp;<strong>return the ballot box and the seal provided to the Association on 23 October<\/strong>.
