{"id":6137,"date":"2025-02-12T10:22:43","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T09:22:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.torreviejagastronomica.com\/?p=6137"},"modified":"2025-02-12T10:22:46","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T09:22:46","slug":"torrevieja-revela-su-agenda-2025-en-fitur-resaltando-gastronomia-y-cultura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.torreviejagastronomica.com\/en\/torrevieja-revela-su-agenda-2025-en-fitur-resaltando-gastronomia-y-cultura\/","title":{"rendered":"Torrevieja unveils its 2025 agenda at FITUR, highlighting gastronomy and culture."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aehtc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMAGENES-FITUR-2025-AEHTC-7.jpg\"><\/a>In the framework of FITUR, one of the most important international tourism events, the Association of Hotel and Catering Businesses of Torrevieja and Region, has presented its complete calendar of activities for 2025, reaffirming itself as a key destination for lovers of cultural and gastronomic tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was attended by the Mayor of Torrevieja, don&nbsp;<strong>Eduardo Dol\u00f3n<\/strong>the Councillor for Catering and Tourism, Ms.&nbsp;<strong>Rosario Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>The President of the Association, D.<strong>&nbsp;Jos\u00e9&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Ignacio Pastor<\/strong>The event was attended by members of the municipal corporation and representatives of various cities and towns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his speech, the president of the association highlighted:&nbsp;<strong><em>\"This year we have prepared a&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>programme that reflects the essence of our city, with activities that combine tradition,&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>innovation and, of course, a unique gastronomy that positions us as a reference point in the world.&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>in the Mediterranean\".<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A calendar full of proposals for 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President shared the key dates of the calendar of activities, which includes events for all tastes and which will take place throughout the year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>February:<\/strong>&nbsp;4th edition of&nbsp;<em>Cake and Coffee - \"The Sweetest Week\".<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>March:<\/strong>&nbsp;12th edition of&nbsp;<em>Rice dishes from Torrevieja<\/em>the&nbsp;<em>Lenten menus<\/em>&nbsp;and the XLVIII Brotherhood Dinner - Golden Fork 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>April:<\/strong>&nbsp;Competition&nbsp;<em>Croquettes al Gusto<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>May:<\/strong>&nbsp;5th edition of&nbsp;<em>Croquettes al Gusto<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>June:<\/strong>&nbsp;Gastronomic Days&nbsp;<em>Torrevieja and the Sea 2025<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>September:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>International Tapas Day in Torrevieja<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-&nbsp;<strong>October and November:<\/strong>&nbsp;the long-awaited festival&nbsp;<em>DESAL TORREVIEJA<\/em>&nbsp;and the 12th edition of&nbsp;<em>We&nbsp;<\/em><em>Let's go for Tapas<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A video to feel Torrevieja<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, during the event, a summary video was shown which includes the main activities of the 2025 calendar, highlighting the most representative moments and the essence of Torrevieja as a tourist and gastronomic destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-gestor-del-servicio wp-block-embed-gestor-del-servicio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=qXMvw17fRAI%3Ffeature%3Doembed\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing of the event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was closed by the Mayor of Torrevieja, Mr. Eduardo Dolon, who thanked the efforts and dedication of the hospitality companies, the real protagonists of this gastronomic calendar. In his speech, the mayor stressed the fundamental role of these companies in promoting tourism in the city and reiterated the commitment of the City Council to continue supporting them in their work, stressing that it is they who really make it possible for Torrevieja to stand out as a benchmark in Mediterranean gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FITUR was once again consolidated as the ideal setting to show the world all that Torrevieja has to offer, reinforcing its position as a tourist destination of excellence and a benchmark in Mediterranean gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A showcooking that conquered FITUR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another of the highlights of the presentation was the showcooking performed by&nbsp;<strong>M\u00f3nica Andreu Pina<\/strong>chef of the prestigious restaurant&nbsp;<em>Las Ca\u00f1as<\/em>. During her demonstration, La Chef elaborated an exquisite&nbsp;<strong>seafood gazpacho<\/strong>a typical dish from Torrevieja that combines the purest flavours of the Mediterranean with traditional ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the preparation, the attendees were able to enjoy a tasting of this emblematic dish, which allowed those present to experience first-hand the city's gastronomic richness.
